Clearing paper jams of Dell B1160w |
If the paper tray is empty or a paper jam has occurred, clear the problem, open, and close the top cover to continue printing see No more paper, solution on page 54 or Clearing paper jams on page 55 of this Dell B1160w Manual. Do not push the paper guide so close to the media that it bulges. Do not use paper with the leading edge curled. This could cause a paper jam or crease. If you do not adjust the paper guide for the width, a paper jam may occur. You can insert special formats and types of print material such as postcards, greeting cards, and envelopes into the feeder. Use only labels intended for laser printers to prevent damage to the device. In the application software, set margins of at least 6.4 mm to the edges of the print material. Load pre-printed paper with the printed side facing up and with a smooth edge of the paper facing forward. If there are problems with the paper feed, turn the paper over.
